The Spa Experience

Start this season with glowing skin and a spa skin regimen. Some select skincare items that are 20% off, mentioned in this blog post, are on sale until the end of the month. An excellent at-home skincare regimen is up to 80% of good skin health. In esthetics, we call it the 80/20 rule and that 100% of skin results come from 80% of the skincare you use at home and 20% of treatments you get from your esthetician. You can get great results with professional skincare by having an at-home spa night.

A day at the spa can be the best thing you can do for your skin, but only some have the time to block out every month. The benefits of a spa skincare regimen at home are mental and physical. Self-care creates time for you to relax and pamper your skin. Here are a few steps to take to get that at-home spa experience:

Prepare

Do you want to invite a few friends over to make it a fun group spa night? Would you rather have a quiet night of relaxation after a long week?

Plan on the little details that make the experience memorable. Do you want to make spa water the night before? If so, infuse some fruit or cucumbers in cold water and chill in the refrigerator the day before so you can have some refreshing water to sip on. Think about a healthy snack that you can make beforehand, like a charcuterie board. Have a warm robe and slippers on standby to make yourself comfortable.

The Spa Experience Skin Regimen

This collection of skincare products is rich in antioxidants that will leave your skin radiant and glowing.

Morning skincare regimen

Cleanse your skin using one pump of Gentle Facial Wash and add water to allow the product to emulsify on the skin. Make sure to massage your skin for at least two minutes to get the circulation going but avoid the eye area. Rinse the cleanser with warm water.

Treat the skin with Peptide Serum and Stem Cell Power Serum. Peptide Serum helps to improve the skin barrier and fight free radicals and needs to be applied to the face, neck, and decollate areas. Stem Cell Power Serum slows aging and reprograms aging skin to stimulate new cell growth. Apply to the face, neck, and decollate area.

Apply Age Delay Cream, which contains peptides and boosts the skin’s cell energy to impart a more glowing and radiant look to the face.

Apply CBD Regenerative Eye Cream, which addresses under-eye circles and loss of elasticity to improve firmness and repair. Apply around the eye area, massaging gently until absorbed.

Protect the skin from UV damage with a lightweight, water-based sunscreen  Photo-Age Environmental Protection Gel SPF 30+.

This last step in your skincare routine is to be applied all over the face, neck, and decollate and back of the hands for protection from damaging rays.
