Spring is here, and it’s a great time to reevaluate my makeup routine for the season and refresh my makeup bag with some new items.
It’s an excellent opportunity to stock up on your holy grail favorites, plus add a few of the more expensive items on your wish list to add to your current makeup collection. I will categorize the products so that it’s easy to find within the blog post if you want specific products. My skin is mature and normal to dry, so if you have my skin type, you will like these recommendations even more. Patrick Ta Major Beauty Headlines Double Take Creme and Powder Blush Duo–
This blush is long-wearing with buildable coverage. The formula is unique, and I’ve never seen anything like it. I would love to own one in every color! The shades are all wearable, and you can go more dramatic by adding more color. This formula allows you to apply the cream over the powder to give your skin a radiant look. You can wear this blush as a powder one day or cream the next or together to give your skin luminosity. It comes with a lovely mirror, and the packaging feels luxurious. You can always tell the difference when a proper makeup artist develops a product because it usually melts into the skin, and this one does not disappoint.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Foundation
This foundation is not something I wear every day, but I do wear it when I know I have a long day ahead of me and don’t want to worry about touching up my makeup. It’s a full-coverage foundation in 56 shades and is best for normal to oily skin types. I also wear this more in spring/summer on those occasions. What I love about it after you put this on is that it doesn’t budge, always looks good, and never fails me. For all those reasons, I never want to be without it my makeup vanity.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
This formula is super hydrating, buttery soft, but not sticky. The scents are all very subtle but pleasing and not overwhelming. I had been hearing about this product for years and finally bit the bullet, and now I can’t live without it. This product won Allure’s 2019 Best in Beauty award and has thousands of positive reviews.

I need to replace a few of my makeup brushes, and the reviews on this brush are fantastic. I look forward to trying it!
I have a short wish list this year because I don’t wear as much makeup as I used to. I still enjoy getting a discount because it’s rare that you get a discount on makeup.
