Oxygenetix Foundation melts into the skin.
If you like the look of a weightless no foundation look on the skin, you will love Oxygentix Oxygenating foundation. That’s hard to say three times!
The ingredients :
The main ingredient is salicylic acid. This ingredient makes for an excellent foundation for oily or acne-prone skin. Salicylic acid helps break up clogged pores and dead skin cells on the skin’s surface.
The grapeseed extract is rich in antioxidants and helps increase cell turnover and even your skin tone.
Aloe ingredients help to soothe and calm sensitive skin and tone down redness. Aloe will help all rosacea and sensitive skin types.
How this product is different from other foundations:
What makes it unique is the Ceravitae technology which lets the skin soak in extra oxygen, stimulating cell production. The foundation has many skincare benefits; it’s anti-aging for your skin just wearing it daily, plus being vegan and cruelty-free. The coverage is light but buildable, especially if trying to cover up redness.
It’s an excellent choice for many skin types, including acne and rosacea. Oily skins may love it because it has an anti-bacterial component that helps control acne.
Application of the product and tips:
When applying the foundation, I would apply it using my hands. It dries very quickly and might get absorbed into the sponge before you have the foundation blended into the skin, which can be wasteful. It does look very natural and beautiful on the skin. f you are very oily, you may need to set it, but overall it sets into the skin without a powder.
If you are on the drier side, I recommend mixing it with your current morning moisturizer to apply it. You could use a hydrating primer before application, which will spread the product more effortlessly, and you will use less product that way. A little goes a long way with the formula. I use the color taupe, which is a fair to medium shade. This foundation applies fine to the under-eye area and all over the lids.
Let’s talk about some of the negatives:
A few negatives to the foundation are it is pricey for the amount you receive, which is .05 oz. The shade range is hard to pick out online, and not a large selection of color choices.
How to store your product:
The product is best stored upside down, so the product is easy to pump out. It’s important not to remove the pump to get the product out, as this will make the foundation dry up before you have finished the bottle.
This foundation is a well-known gem in dermatology and plastic surgery offices. Many people that come in with different skin types use this foundation regularly. It breaks the barrier between skincare and makeup. It’s safe to use after even some of the most intense skin treatments. It’s always important to know the protocol if you have a skin treatment on your face before using this or any product.
Overall I think it’s a great formula and love it!
