New Summer Sephora Beauty Products Kit
If you are a makeup or skincare obsessed, you will want to give the new favorites kit from Sephora called Vacay all Day a try.
These kits are limited edition and focus on products for a particular time of year or a specific product type.
Depending on the kit, you can try some of Sephora’s best-selling products in trial sizes, travel sizes, and sometimes full sizes.
Everyone can relate to spending hard-earned money on a product that doesn’t perform as you felt. These kits are a great way to try many different new products to see how they are with your skin, makeup, or hair routine. If you find something you like, you can always buy the full-size product when the trial size runs out.
The Vacay All Day kit includes items that revolve around products used for the summer. The entire kit is $44 but has a retail value of $134.
The bag is a net meshed material that would be a cute bag for a summer pool or makeup pouch.
I will do a quick review on each product in order of how I might apply everything as I get ready.
I may start with the Glow Recipe Watermelon Dewdrops, and this will lay the groundwork for a lovely summer glow on the skin. This product contains niacinamide. The formula is light and hydrating.
Isle of Paradise Medium self-tanning drops is what I used to mix in with my moisturizer. Using drops with your moisturizer offers is a great way to get a subtle glow to the skin without looking patchy when the self-tanner wears off. I have to admit the smell of this was strong and a turn-off. The scent was not beachy, just too potent and perfumey smelling.
The Caffeine Eye Cream from Inkey claims to reduce puffiness. It’s a clean brand, and this product is sold only at Sephora. It has over 1000 reviews, so I was excited to try it out. I do think it slightly reduced my morning puffiness.
Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen Spf 40 came in the kit and claims to be water and sweat-resistant. I liked the feel of this sunscreen. It applies to your skin like velvet and feels good on the skin. I would purchase the full-size product of this!
Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer is an award-winning primer that seals moisture to the skin. I like this because it’s easy for even a skin tint to disappear on the skin in the summer, which will make it last longer and give your skin a glow.
You get a full-sized mascara called SEA surfer curl in black by Tarte. I liked this mascara, and I felt like it coated my lashes without having to keep reapplying to get the desired result. It was lash lifting and will hold a curl in your lashes.
I used the Ilia Blue Light filter mist to set my makeup. It was lightweight and non-sticky, which I liked, and is supposed to protect your skin against environmental damage to the skin.
Tower28 Beauty ShineOn Milky Lip Jelly gloss. A sheer, hydrating, not sticky gloss and its tint so that it could be an alternative to lipstick but modern dewy, and light.
I love MorroccanOil products and was excited to try the hydrating styling cream. This container is more of a travel size than a trial size, so you get a good amount of product in the tube, about 2.53 oz. Hair can dry out in the summer with beach trips or pool days, and this is an excellent addition to your beach bag to use. I have to warn you that the product comes out very fast and all at once, so I’m not crazy about the design of the tube as it kind of wastes the product.
The last review is of the Summer Fridays Summer Silk nourishing body lotion. You get to try a very generous size in 3.4oz. It’s a clean product and an allure beauty award winner. It’s very hydrating, and the scent is pleasant.
